The main mission of Regulatory Compliance is to establish and apply suitable and updated policies and procedures, in order to achieve the Company’s prompt, complete and continuous compliance with the applicable regulatory framework per case and to provide at any time a complete update on the extent to which this goal is achieved.
The establishment of the relevant policies and procedures involves assessing the complexity and nature of the Company’s activities, including the development and promotion of new products and business practises.
The Head of Regulatory Compliance possesses the necessary authority, resources and experience to carry out his duties effectively and with integrity. He has full access to all the Company information and data that are required for carrying out his duties. The Head of Regulatory Compliance should not be involved in duties and services which, due to the nature of Regulatory Compliance, he is authorized to supervise.
The Head of Regulatory Compliance reports to the Company’s Managing Director and his work is supervised by the Audit Committee. He can be an exclusive full time employee, with suitable and relative professional experience for carrying out his duties, or this service can be assigned to third parties.
The mission of the Company’s Head of Regulatory Compliance is to implement the policy established by the Company’s Board of Directors, so that it complies with the applicable legal and regulatory framework per case.
